Google Cloud and Google Workspace account migration

Google Cloud
Dear Customer,
To respond to the growing needs of our Cloud customers in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA), Google is forming a dedicated entity to provide Cloud services in the region – Google Cloud EMEA. As a result, all Google Cloud and Google Workspace (formerly known as G Suite) accounts as well as contracts of customers and partners with a billing address in EMEA will be migrated from Google Ireland Ltd to Google Cloud EMEA Ltd.* ("Google Cloud EMEA") in the coming weeks (though no sooner than 4 weeks after this notice).
Google Cloud and Workspace services will not be affected by this migration and will continue to run as usual. The forms of payment, pricing, and billing currency will also remain the same.
Once the migration of your accounts and contracts has been completed, you will receive an additional confirmation notice, and the following changes will apply:
Billing documentation:
Your invoices and billing statements will be issued by and display the address and tax ID of Google Cloud EMEA.
Your invoices will include new remittance information (a local bank account and bank account owner). Please make sure to send payments using the new remittance information, or there will be a delay in closing your outstanding invoices.
In line with existing VAT regulations for Serbia, VAT will be displayed as a separate line item by Google Cloud EMEA and will be collected by Google Cloud EMEA at the standard local rate (currently 20%).
Note: The above changes do not apply to products where you have already selected to be billed on a monthly, quarterly, or annual installment basis for a fixed period. For such products, your invoices and billing statements will continue to be issued by Google Ireland Ltd on behalf of Google Cloud EMEA until the relevant installment billing period expires. This will not affect the migration of your account.
Your contracts:
As part of this migration, all contracts you have entered into with Google (including our rights and obligations under those contracts) for Google Cloud and/or Google Workspace services will be automatically assigned to Google Cloud EMEA Ltd., and Google Cloud EMEA Ltd. will agree to be bound by the terms of the relevant contracts. Additionally, your account information, including any associated personal information, will be transferred to Google Cloud EMEA Ltd. We advise customers and partners who do not want this transfer of personal information to occur, to stop using applicable services and terminate the account before the migration date.
Direct debit mandate:
The existing mandate will transfer to Google Cloud EMEA automatically (unless you are also a Google Ads customer).
What do I need to do?
To ensure a smooth transition, please adjust your internal processes to use the new bank account and bank account owner shown on your invoices and billing statements when making payments to Google at your earliest convenience and before the migration is completed.
If you are a reseller of Google Cloud or Google Workspace services we advise you to assess if this change has any implications for your customers and advise them accordingly.
